Frederick Douglass: Pathway From Slavery to Freedom was shot entirely on locations in Connecticut. We started out asking visitors to this site to recommend locations, props and costumes. Scroll down to see what they recommended, and shots of the locations we finally used to portray the places where Frederick Douglass lived during the mid-1800s when he was a child and in his early teens.
