Young American Heroes Featured on Channel 8 WTNH:

Our first day of shooting for the Frederick Douglass film was aboard the Mystic Whaler in Bridgeport, Conn., on April 29.

It was a rainy and cold day, but our young Frederick Douglass, Kendall Jones, a 7th grade Honor Roll student at Hamden Middle School, was a real trouper.

Here's the link to text and video on the YAH story that ran on WTNH-Channel 8 News that evening.

Here is our anticipated production schedule for the month of May ... With emphasis on "anticipated" as things are still in flux:

  • Mon., May 5 Shooting Baltimore montage in Mystic, CT
  • Tues., May 6 Shooting Baltimore train station scene at Essex Steam Train
  • Wed. May 7 Denison Homestead, Mystic, CT
  • Thurs., May 8 Denison Homestead outside Mystic, CT
  • Sat., May 10 and Sun., May 11 Shooting school scenes at Roton Middle School, Norwalk, CT
  • Mon., May 12 and Tues., May 13 Shooting plantation scenes at Warrup Farm in Redding, CT
  • Fri., May 16 Shooting New York City scene in South Norwalk, CT
